Friday evening 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm
Wine, tapas and dinner reception to enjoy Camino hospitality and meet your fellow peregrinos who will train with you as hospitaleros.
Saturday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

9:15 a.m. Camino Highs, Lows and hopes: Transitioning from Peregrino to Hospitalero
10:45 a.m. Break: and the World’s fastest Camino cooking lesson
11:00 a.m. The Albergue and what each Room represents
11:45 a.m. Lunch: Soups: Caldo Gallego and Sopa de Ajo y Pan
12:30 p.m. Hospitalero priorities and Albergue procedures
1:30 p.m The Donation Box
2:00 p.m. Shaking out the Welcome Mat
3:00 p.m. Communication on the Camino and Relations in the Community
4:00 p.m. What to know about the albergue before your predecessor/supervisor walks out the door.
4:30 p.m. Questions and Answers
5:00 p.m. Release to Recharge the Hospitalero Battery
Sunday 8:30 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Although the ‘coursework’ is finished by 3:30pm, we encourage all to stay and help with the preparations for the Community Reception. It is your opportunity to complete the transition from peregrina/o to hospitalera/o.
